Over the whole summer schools we expect to develop the partnerships we have in place in 2009. These included the Lochgoilhead Fiddle Workshop, the Scottish Bluegrass Association and SC&T, Scottish Culture & Traditions, based in Aberdeen. The Scottish Bluegrass Association promote an interest in Bluegrass and Old Time music throughout Scotland and increasingly in other parts of the UK. Their annual Guildtown Bluegrass Festival takes place on the weekend between Guitar Week and Common Ground. Some of the American artists coming over for Guildtown may be participating as tutors in our Summer Schools.

We expect our tutor team for 2010 to be similar to the team in 2009. We will have a fabulous team of tutors for 2010 and we can say with some confidence that you will have a great time! Come and join us.
