'Passing It On'

Sponsorship Opportunities

You can support the work of Living Tradition Summer Schools in several ways. We have a need for cash sponsorship, but also appreciate the value of 'in kind' sponsorship. A combination of the two might ultimately prove to be most beneficial.

As a company ' Friend of Living Tradition Summer Schools' you will be listed in our literature and website under either Gold, Silver or Bronze categories of sponsorship.

Gold Sponsors - donations of £1001+
Silver Sponsors - donations of £251 to £1000
Bronze Sponsors - donations of up to £250

There are also opportunities for more specific sponsorship. We have listed some of these below, but would be pleased to discuss tailoring a package to meet your interests or support your company's marketing profile.

Sponsor a Tutor

Tutors will come from both the UK and overseas. They will cover a wide range of skills - the common factor being that they will be musicians and craftsmen of the highest calibre. Many will be performing artists with a good reputation. Typical cost £500

Sponsor a Course

There will be several threads running throughout the Summer School and it will be possible to sponsor an individual course e.g. Fiddle, Guitar, Photography, or a whole section of the programme e.g. The Visual Arts, Scottish Music, Dance, etc. Typical cost from £500 to £2000

Sponsor a Concert

We intend to run a series of concerts, both before the event to generate awareness, and during the Summer School. These concerts could be sponsored on an individual or series basis. Typical cost from £500 to £1500

Sponsor our Dialogue

Dialogue will be a small but vitally important part of Common Ground on the Hill. We anticipate considerable media interest in this aspect of our work. Primary sponsorship £5000 Secondary sponsorship £1000

Sponsor our Outreach

We will encourage year round activity in our local community, aiming to offer people opportunities to continue developing their skills after the Summer School. Typical cost from £500 to £5000

Sponsor a Young Musician

The cost of attendance at the Summer School may be beyond the means of many people, particularly talented young musicians, or groups of people or families who may wish to attend together. We have sponsorship opportunities ranging from total support for an individual student or students to part funding of places. Typical cost £300
