'Passing It On'

Our Venue - West Park, Dundee

A Little History

The beautiful Mansion House was built in the 1860's as a family home for Alexander Henderson, one of the most highly esteemed and successful merchants and manufacturers in the city of Dundee. His youngest son, C F Henderson, was renowned throughout the city as a very generous benefactor to the hospital and when he was appointed life governor of University College in 1943, he made another donation - he gifted West Park to the College.

And today

West Park is renowned as a first-class venue offering leisure, special events and conference facilities with seamless service.

The character of this lovely property has been retained and is home to Henderson's Restaurant , The Abernyte Conservatory , The Balbeggie Suite , The Longforgan and The Kilspindie and many more functions/meeting suites for delegates and guests alike to enjoy. With its romantic country house ambience, West Park has grown in popularity as the new venue in town for weddings

Enhancing the beautiful Mansion House is a separate dedicated Conference Centre for up to 300 delegates and two unique accommodation complexes offering a total of 204 en-suite bedrooms.

West Park, nestled in its own landscaped gardens in the suburban west-end, has such a complete range of products and services on offer, that guests who visit really do uncover a "Hidden Gem" in this city of Discovery.
